SAP BI Certification

Hi All,

I need to write BI certification for this year in india (Tech Ed) .... can anybody tell me when will be the exams are conducted by SAP in india and were can i find the syllabus for this exam and what will be price for writing this exam and how many marks i need to take in order to pass the exam.

If you're in Asia Pacific, you'll need to take a full set of training classes from one of the Authorized Training Partners in order to sit for the exam unless you have 2 full implementations and an authorized implementation partner to sponsor you. Certifying at SAP TechEd may be an exception, but I don' t know that for sure.

If you're anywhere else in the world (for example, Australia), then you can just register for the exam through an authorized test center (PearsonVue in the US, Australia, and maybe elsewhere) and take it at your convenience. The certification questions are taken from the class material, so, while not impossible, it is strongly recommended that you take official SAP classes from somewhere and study the class material thoroughly (3 times or more all the way through) before sitting for the exam.

No matter where you are, if you're interested in taking training from SAP itself, check the main SAP Training site,http://www.sap.com/training-and-education/index.epx.

Hi Vishall,

If you are in India and you want to give your certification in SAP BI without undergoing training from SAP authorised training center then following criteria should be met :

1 To appear for Associate level certification without attending any SAP course you need Minimum 1 year of SAP Implementation Experience or 2 years of Support experience with minimum of 6 months experience in the module and version in which you wish to take up certification.

To appear for Professional level certification without attending any SAP course you need Minimum to 3 - 7 years of SAP Implementation Experience with minimum of 6 months experience in the module and version in which you wish to take up certification.

2 The last 1 year should be with your present employer

3 Your present employer should be a CUSTOMER or PARTNER of SAP India Pvt Ltd.

If you have met above condition then get in touch with SAP guys.They will evaluate your profile and will let you know whether you are eligible for taking certification or not.This evaluation will take 3-7 working day.If you are elegible they will guide you further.

Please note that once you are profile is evaluated you should complete your certifcation with 2 months.If your profile is rejected you cannot apply again for next 6 months.

Certification fee for Associate level will be INR 38605/- and for professional level the fee will be INR 55,150/- inclusive of current taxes applicable.

SAP wont provide any crtification material if  you want to take exam without training.

Certification dates are not pre-scheduled & will be shared only on approval on receipt of documents for registration
