Managed system configuration in Solution Manager 7.1/Create users

Hi all,

during managed system configuration in solution manager 7.1

Im on step 7 configure automatically

Managed system here NW 7.3 ehp1 java system.

I have created user sm_coll_<sid> in create users step, (sid of solution manager)
however couldnt find some roles or groups in the managed system.

SAP_J2EE_ADMIN 

SAP_XI_API_DISPLAY_J2EE

SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN

xi_af_channel_admin_display

xi_af_channel_admin_modify

now in step 7 im getting warning for web service logical port creation and generate system-level metrics

Also, while creating user, I didnt get action as create user.... i got only Provide existing user so I had to create those users manually in managed system.

plus can anyone suggest what is role type mentioned during user creation (Type A, U, J)

Have you solved the issue? We are facing the same error actually and till now we could not find a solution! What we have is a Solution Manager 7.1 SP4

I have found a SAP Note (1669789) addressing the same issue but even after we implemented it, still the issue is not resolved.

Please if you have solved the issue or if you find anything, lets share it.

I was able to generate EWA, but i still have warnings in step 7 configure automatically. And the report generated is not full, I mean few details are still missing,

I still get the warning display as "The Diagnostics agent for Introscope Enterprise Manager could not be found".... let me check with the note which you mentioned.

I press unassign agent and apply agent. Click save. Status change to green.

Error in step 7 for user SAPSUPPORT and SM_COLL_<SID>

E:CL_DIAGSTP_MESSAGE:483 SOLMAN_ADMIN

state this users is green and user provided

in UME access no grant.

how to resolve this problem?

Create Role in managed system with actions "spml_read_action" & "spml_write_action"

assign this to both these users & the administrator (or the user you have given for login in step enter system parameters) as well.

Again check whether all those roles which are listed, are attached properly or not in portal.

I had a similar issue. User SM_COLL_ESM was locked in the managed system. I unlocked the user and it worked.

For "Generate System-level Metrics", warning display is "The Diagnostics agent for Introscope Enterprise Manager could not be found"

i have already assigned diagnostic agent in previous steps.
