Critical Performance Issue

Hi All,

In our project we have SAP Net Weaver BI 7.0,

On top on it we have a reporting tool as Cognos,

When executing reports and dashboards in cognos layer the runtime of the reports is taking more than 30 Minutes .coming to BI the run time of the report is not exceeding 10 SEC.

As we worked on all the way to improve Query performance by building AGG and doing compressions and creating index.

As the Go-Live is put on hold for this reason,

If we failed to resolve this problem with in time the project will go-off from our hands.

If some one is able to rectify this problem that is greatly appreciable.

No,

Cognos will get inputs from SAP-BI Reporting Layer (BEX-)

On top On sap BI the cognos dashboards are planed.

Are you manipulating any data inbetween BI and the Cognos?

If yes, what is the manipulation %?

What is the result if you just try to connect to BI from Cognos (without any data fetch)?

No.

With out data fetch it will be around (5-10) sec.

Are you still having performance issues?

did you try putting all your report static and dynamic filters in Bex?
