Permanent transfer action

When user runs the action for Permanent transfer e.g. from the US to FR it takes to the termination action process first then transfer action process fpr an employee.

In the sytem I do not see any action configured for Permanent Transfer.

    Yes Neo

in Global Roll outs when employee transfers from one country to another country there will be issue in handling Personal Numbers , Where this employee cannot retain same PERNR number in both the countries So there will be Terminatioin process first later transfer process

    Hi,

In addition to what Sikindar has said,I would add up and state that, In SAP we have the functionality of MGE(management of Global Employees),this allows the transfers of Employees across Countries and Company Codes without changing his PERNR,however for every transfer action there shall be a Personnel ID generated which can be tracked for his global Employment Periods. Also if you have payroll implemented for country versions transfer can happen mid month also, the employee shall get 15 days pay from FR and 15 Days pay from US.

Kindly go through the Forum for more info on MGE,also to activate this you have to contact SAP first refer SAP Note.662136.

MGE sure can be of great help for Cross country transfers.

I've never worked in a multi Country system, but I believe that a transfer should not include a "termination action".

There may not be a requirement for a "Permanent Transfer" action if there is no "Temporary Transfer" action. A transfer is a transfer, but a cross-Country transfer would involve a little more work (delimiting previous Tax Infotypes and creating those required by the new Country).

    Hi Neo,

I think your company has not implemented GE (Global Employment). If this is the case than terminating the employee in US and hiring in FR is the right configuration.

    Regards
