SAP AS JAVA support packages for NW 7.1

Hi,

I am on EHP1 for NW 7.1(SPS 5). I was able to find the Support package stack 9 for ABAP  for NW7.1. But i was not able to find the Support packages for JAVA for NW 7.1

Please advice if it exist or where can i download the same.

Go to software downloads ------ >>> A-Z Index ------->> select N ----- >> you will get SAP Netweaver ,select it ------>>>select SAP EHP1 for NW7.0 ----->>>> there you will get an option like Entry by component ------>> Expand it and you will get the desired one.

I have already seen this

This is EHP1 for NW 7.0(all the support packages are like SAPKB70101)

I am looking for support packages for NW 7.1(all the support packages are like SAPKB71101)

Where can i find that

Hi Balaji,

As per my knowledge , you have written the Netweaver AS ABAP component (SAP BASIS) for which SAP has released the version 7.1 . For AS JAVA not such version like 7.1 has been released by SAP .

So , i will suggest go check all component detail for java with SP level and then check the version there.

I think EHP 1 FOR NETWEAVER will work.

It looks like a PI 7.11 system to me, please correct me if I am wrong..

if  yes, then

software downloads --> My Company's Application Components --> SAP NETWEAVER PI --> SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NW PI 7.1 --> Entry by Component --> Application Server Java

Here you can select according to your system..

Hi Pratik,

As per your information, there is not support packages for Java for Netweaver 7.1

EHP1 for netweaver 7.0 will not work, since this will give java components of 7.01, where as i am already on 7.1

If i need to upgrade my NW 7.1 system to the latest support packages(not the latest release), can i upgrade only the ABAP support packages to Patch 9 and leave the java.

Can you provide the details of all component of java. I want to see it once .

Yes, you can update the ABAP Patches to any level (n-1) .

Hello Balaji,

Please analyase your system first, it can not happen like SAP releasing SP Stack for Abap not for Java for a dual stack system.

According to me Either ypur system is PI 7.1 or NW CE 7.1 (Composition Environment) and if yes then you have the option for downloading Java 7.1 \.

The following is the Java stack package level. This server is for System Landscape Directory only.. Thisis on NW 7.1 Support package 5. I want to update this to 7.1 Support package greater than 5(like 1000.7.11.6 or 7 or 😎

Hi Balaji,

As you see that all the components in your stack are at the same level. The suggestion from my end are:

1. First all you, you have to decide upto which level you want to upgrade your system to. My suggestion is you move upto level 8.

2. Search for indivisual componenets (eg DICLIENTS;remove underscore or dash from the name.) under "Search for Support Packages and Patches" and then you'll get the required component.

3. Search for SP8 (or whichevr you decide) and download it.
