Short text for inspection object is missing for inspection lots type 09

Hi Gurus,

The short text for inspection object is missing for inspection lots are being created from inspection type 09. For others types we can see the short text for inspection objects correctly. I don't know if you could help me to solve this issue?

1. Check in Material master -> Additional Data -> Description for which all Languages are maintained.

2. Check in QALS table for Inspection lot detailed display in which language Lot is created.

Missing language is to be added in Material master to fix the issue.

Are you referring to the field in the QA32/33 worklist?  This is usually populated with the material's short text description. In our system the 09 short text for inspection object populates as expected.

Or are we talking about different things?

A screen print might help.

Thank you for your reply. Could you see the attachment? We are using tcode QA32/QA33 worklist.

We can see this error for inspection lots from 09 origin. The short text is being showed correctly for others origin type.

This is a new one for me.  I can't say I've ever seen this type of issue reported by anyone and I've never run across it.  Hopefully someone else has.

Is there anything special about these materials?  Did you use the standard QA07 program to create them or a custom one?

Have you searched OSS for any notes on this?

Hi... No... we are using QA07 standard to create the inspection lot for recurring analisys....

I haven't check OSS yet... I will...
