system error : CSEVPERMIT not found

Hi friends ,

I am trying to create charactorstics for permit class of type 049 . I am entering CSEVPERMIT in the field "table name" under Addition data tab of tcode CT04 .

But system is giving me msg that table not found . I know CSEVPERMIT is a structure but i think still we can enter it in field "table name " . But I am not sure why system is not allowing me to enter this . In SE11 under view , I am able to see CSEVPERMIT .

Please help .
