Error in Search UI when removing field from the SRM-MDM Catalog

Hi,

My issue is that previously I had a user defined field with the following code: Z_CODE.

This was not in use, and has been removed from the Catalog.

When opening the Search UI for a specific user, I get a large error message.

The only thing I can make sense of is that it is expecting Z_CODE to exist in the Catalog. When I create a dummy field with Z_CODE as field code, it works.

The thing I don't understand is why it reacts to the missing field. It is not in use anywhere in the search UI config.

Can anyone advise on what can be the cause of this? I would like to delete the field.

KR,

Thomas

Check the OCI configuration, normally this Z_CODE field would be still in use into the OCI configuration, you access through the UI config.

Then, you have to create again the Z_CODE into the Console, like it was. Once it's created you will be able to access to UI config without errors, go to OCI configuration, delete the mapping with Z_CODE and then, you'll be able to delete it from the Console.

      Thanks for the answer.

The field has not been used in the OCI-mapping.

I re-created the field, logged on to the config. I could not see any traces of it in the UI config or OCI mapping.

I will keep investigating, and update if I find a solution.
