Asset Transfer with in CC-Expired useful life

Dear All,

I have an Asset 1010 with useful life 10 years and expired useful life as 2 years and am transferring an asset 1010 with in the company code to the Asset 1011.

Now when I see the new Asset 1011,its displaying expired useful life as zero and useful life as 10 years but my expectation is that new Asset should show with expired useful life 2 years and useful life is 10 years.

Could someone advice how we can transfer to new Asset with carrying forward of expired useful life of old Asset ?
