Webi hide columns from cross table

Hi all,

Could any one provide me a solution to hide a cross tab column.

My cross tab has the Dimension in the rows and date values in the columns. At the end of the rows, I've inserted a calculated column with the sum of the date values columns. The date column depend of the input controls selected.

Jan Feb .......... Sum

DIM1 20 10 .......... 30

DIM1 30 20 .......... 50

I would like to hide the date columns and only see the sum column.

Sum

DIM1 30

DIM1 50

Is there any solution to do this?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi,

if we assume that your input control select single value then you can change the background color and cell color white and decrese the cell size as min as possible

if using a Check box then follow below site. ( I never tried the 2nd scenario, Post back if it works for you)

    Hope this helps.

    Hi
the end result you want is no longer a cross-tab table - it is a simple vertical table with 2 columns
    1. Insert a Vertical table
    2. make the 1st column the dimension (you can drag the DIM1 dimension to the table)
    2. insert a column to the right. put a formula into the second column with the Sum() function for whatever the measure is
    eg. =Sum([sales])

    Format the table as required

    Hi Dolors Pil,

It's not possible to hide a column in Crosstab report. only hide dimension values ie hide rows

    for example hide dimension objects

    Jan Feb - --------Sum

    DIM 1 20 10 ---------- 30

    DIM 2 30 20 ---------- 50

    Sum

    DIM1 20 10 ---------- 30

    DIM2 30 20 ---------- 50

    Thanks,
