Time Evaluation Problem

Hi All,

I have done the entire configuration of Time Evaluation. Some where I have done mistake and end up with below issue

Issue:

I have run time evaluation for an employee.. It was successful but quota is not getting generated.

Details:

Time Schema Used : TM04

TMSTA : 9

Quota Generation : Increase

Kindly help.

You can generate quotas through time evaluation. In Base entitlements instead of using a constant you need to use a timetype, at the end of period/ whenever you want to generate the quota, you should use a PCR to update the quota.

Hi Raghu,

Using Constant value in base entitlement also we can generate absence Quotas through TE. not only time type.

Not required PCR, where we can use PCR, If SAP standard functionality not meet client requirement and more conditions need to check in those case required PCR.

Don't be mind. I am just updating.

Here the issue is configuration problem, Even through RPTTQTA00 also not get result.

Wait for owners comment.

Hi, Kiran,

Can you chek your base Entitlement.What happens  is when the base entitlements are 0 or blank the system wiill not genetare quota.it just shows blank screen.

Hi,

Check with generation rules for quota type selection and also check with this program

RPTQUOTA_CHECK-run this program.After running if you will get any yellw color symbol on the  screen at right side,just click that one and it shows error message which you want.After you can go to particular table and maintain that values

(OR)IAfter running of that program if you will get any error like' NO GENERATION RULES FOR QUOTA TYPE SELECTION'-go to that table and you need to maintain the values there

Check this table also-T559V and V_001P_H

Hi,

Might be problem with Generation rule with accrual period and transfer period.

Do like below,

keep no generation first generate without time evaluation i.e through PT_QTA00.

once coming result don't update (test run only)

Then change as Increase mode run time evaluation check now.

Correct,

Ideally. RPTQTA must be run to generate Qouta. Then only one can run Time evaluation.

Please follow Saphrd's instruction.

Hi SAPHRD,

I tried with with No Generation, without time evaluation through PT_QTA00(RPTQTA00).

Ended up with blank screen.

Now tried with Increase Mode with Time Evaluation. Still not successful

Result came or not with RPTQTA00,

If result come only you need to run, Result not there you need to check configuration.

For better understanding you.

i will tell you process.

Keep no generation mode of Quotas, base entitlement keep as constant value.

Go to Pa30 select employee number and info type as 2006 and then create.

give data and save, while saving you will get messages, what went wrong.

complete that configuration. then try with RPTQTA00

Hi,

I am able to create IT2006 for an employee directly. And data is getting saved.

If i generate with RPTQTA00, i am ending up with blank screen.

And with RPTIME00, with No Generation, Time Evaluation is successful but no updation of Quotas

Have you mentioned quota name in PT 60 ?

Hi Priya,

I couldn't find option to select Quota Name in PT60.

I guess the option exist if we are generating the quota through RPTQTA00 program.

Please correct me.
