Hello experts,

I had configured CHARM for 2 system landscape and it was working fine. However, suddenly I am facing an issue related to filed which is not set as mandetory but when user try to set the status to 'in development' the filed named - subject gets mandetory. Neither it allow me to enter anything nor any value is present in the dropdown list. I was able to moved the TR correctly earlier but now it is always ask me to fill the required entry in the 'subject' field.

How should I resolve this issue? Had anybody faced similar issue before?

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ameya

Hi Ameya,

The Subject field is always mandatory in the change request. But in the normal/urgent correction , it is not mandatory.

Are you facing the issue in correction/change request?

THanks,

Jagadish.

HI Jagadish,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes I am creating an urgent correction and despite that the subject field is mandetory. However, just before posting this reply I tried to create a new UC and this time I did not get subject field as mandetory. I do not understand why it is randomly getting mandetory?

Hi Ameya,

To differentiate between different Charms we need to provide Subject field and this is mandatory. It also helps to understand for what purpose the charm has been created.

Hi Ameya

Hope you are doing good .

In ChaRM ...

first document is

CR which is SDCR or SMCR ...here change manger approve/reject based upon the Subject Field which decide which type of change needs to be created like normal or urgent so based upon this selection

another doc call Change Document or SDMJ or SMMJ will be created.

Hope it clarifies

Regards

Prakhar
