Hi
I created one simple query with one charcateristic infoobject on same infoobject (purpose is to provide master data)...I created one direct update DSO with single key field(same infoobject used in query) and tried to load DSO from query with APD...Its not showing any errors but loading 0 records to DSO...Any ideas where the error is happening?
Thanks
You did make a mapping of the infoobject between the two dataproviders?
In an APD you can see the results step by step. Right-click -> intermediate result -> calculate
Do this on your query, if there you have 0 records, your query does not fetch data. Otherwise, the problem will be further on in your APD (mapping or update DSO).
May I also add that in a direct update DSO you don't see your loads in 'manage'.

Thanks for your reply.
Mapping is there in transformation in APD between infoobjects.so its no problem. Also,I got to know that Direct update DSO doesnot show request in manage tab.But the problem DSO doesnot has any data. Its because APD loads only 0 records.
So I checked at query(source level) in APD by rightclicking and choosing intermediate result...It shows 0 records...so query is not fetching data..
I executed query in query designer...it shows data...is it because I have only one characteristic infpoobject in query design that APD is not recognising query result?(This query is supposed to show master data of this specific infoobject
Any ideas?
When we click on Direct update DSO,I know that we donot see any requests in Manage tab.But when choose Display data on Direct update DSO,do we see any data?Because at query level and at transformation level,APD shows data but not at Direct Update level....it shows 0 records..do I need to activate or do something to see data in direct update DSO level?
