Confirmation- Error in process Extended classic scenario.

Hello Experts,

Confirmation is posted in the system and even in back end too, but it is showing status as “Error in process”.And in RZ20  I found, Idoc not posted Message is “Backend goods receipt errors” but PO history is updated.

My question is what could be the reason, it is showing as “Error in process” ?what action I should take now?

Hi,

Did you check the idoc status in SRM & ECC? what is status in SRM and in ECC? what is the error description mentioned in IDOC?

Also, eventhough PO history is updated, did you tried to reprocess the idoc in ECC / SRM ? what is the error message did you get when you tried to reporcess BD87?

If you are not reprocessed, please do it and let us know the error message.

Hi Krish.

Thanks for your reply. I have found the reason why it is "error in process".

In RZ20 it was shwoing "Error in gr posting" Then I saw in WE02 in R/3, Since PO was relaed to Asset, in asset master there was a problem. Until it is rectified we can not reprocess Idoc. I am waiting user to come back to me.

Hello Sharan,

if material document (corresponding to SRM Confirmation) was correctly created in R/3 for the PO, no need to reprocess IDoc in error through WE19 transaction.

If not, make necessary modification in IDoc data (also using WE19 transaction).

Nevertheless, do not forget to delete corresponding entry from BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB in order to have confirmation status correctly updated by report CLEAN_REQREQ_UP.
