Period Indicator Forecast

We are about to start Forecasting and have a question about the Period Indicator in Material Master...

We want the forecast on a weekly basis... but when I choose "W" the system warns with "Consumptions values already exist for period ind./fiscal yr variant M" (Monthly.)

Sooo is it possible to get the forecast on a weekly basis?

When i try to Execute forecast I get No historical data exists
