Hi BPC Expertes,
I have an inquiry about Dashboards in BPC. Do you need Xcelsius or is there another solution to create a Dashboared to SAP BPC?.
thanks for your Help..
Kind Regards.
Hi Sebastian
It depends on your requirements, you could build a basic dashboard with some of the built in excel functions, but if you want to make use of the interactive controls within these dashboards which a lot of the sales demo's are using then you would need to use Xcelsius
Additionally if you wanted to use the writeback functionality to BPC from a dashboard you would need to use Xcelsius
How to guide for BPC and Xcelsius

Hope this helps

Ashsi Gupta, your answer was very helpful, since i found out what you mentioned, that you can insert dashboards in swf extention. But could inquire in licence issues correct if you don´t prove that you have the licence for the sofware of Dashboard creation.. correct...

If you just want to use an already built dashboard in a BPC report, you just need to have the swf file which you can insert in the BPC report. In case you wish to write to BPC database, then you would need Xcelsius.
Hope it helps!!
