It´s possible to create groups of shifts?

Since I´m too stupid to discover a way to search in this new SAP forum, I´ll have to post my question even knowing that this was probably answer before.

We have a scenario where the company have more than 16 different types of shifts, and this shifts can be apply for all the machines. Also, they change the shifts of the machines and the works several times during the week.

There´s any way to create groups of shifts, for the work centers, in a way that the the users won´t need to change each shift in each work center?

Thanks!

Hi Felipe,

You can create Shift sequences in the config and then assign the shift definitions in it as a sort of group. When u want to change the shift, go in the work center -> Capacity-> intervals and  shift - > and give the shift sequnce there to give the relevant shifts.

dear,

as far as i know the term "shift group" belongs to HR (the info-type 1039) stuff...

i am not quite sure how to use it in PP module.

you would probably are able to continue with available capacity
