System is allowing to create PO against expired Contract

Hi,

System is allowing to create Purchase Orders with reference to an
Outline Agreement (contract) whose validity has been expired.

Error message no. 06041 -' Validity period of contract expired on xxx
is set as Error message in configuration.

Reproduction steps -

1) ME31K - Create an Contract with validity period as 01.4.2012 to

31.12.2012

2) ME32K - Change the contract validity period from 31.12.2012 to

15.04.2012 and save.

3) ME21N - Create the PO with reference to contract on

today’s date i.e. with date 17.04.2012.

Some times system is not showing the error message and allowing

creating the PO. System should show error message as the PO creation

date is out of validity of the contract.
