EPM10 - Error while altering task profile

Hello Experts,

I am facing an error when I am trying to add any task to a task profile. It says - System Exception - Role doesn't exist.

It is not user specific error and it is happening with one particular appset only. Has anyone encountered this befor.

Any help appreciated. Screenhot attached.

Hi Nilanjan,

I am facing a wierd problem, for some of the environment, I am not able to view the options under DM tab (like run package, view status, etc). All these options are greyed out.

Now, when I checked in security, the tasks wrt DM were not assigned to the user, so I thought that it's the problem with security, when I tried assigning the correct task profile, it gave me the error shown above (role not found).

As a getaway, I tried this, I copied environmentshell again to a different environment, and found that DM options are still greyed out, even though the user has been assigned correct authority (Perform DM related tasks).

Any suggestions?

Hi Ashish,

I am not 100% sure, but I have a feeling that your access has been restricted from the BW system. You might want to check your authorizations in SU01, and PFCG.

I checked in su01 and added the role XSA_DATA_MANAGER to the user. Still the same problem persists.
