BPS_WB: Selector Function (SEL_FUNCTION)

Does anyone know what the "Selector Function" component is used for? And, how it can be configured ?

From the help text it seems that I should be able to add several Parameter Groups as dropdown elements in the selector. When the user selects one of the Parameter Groups it would execute....

Dear Alan,

the selector can be used to choose between pairs of functions and parametergroups, e.g. let the user choose the distribution function he is interested in.

The customizing is done indirect: when inserting a function the selection of the method and parametergroup can be taken from this selector. Just take the name of the selectior from the F4 Help for a planning method.

In the UI you will see e.g. a drop down box containing all pairs of methods and parametergroup that can be found in the planning area/level specified in the function attributes. In addition there is a button to execute the selected function.
