Hi,
The t-code J1i9 is used for object number range maintenance. Here, the SD consultant is maintaining series for local excise invoice and the number range is system generated. Now it is needed to maintain a separate number range for excise invoice of exported materials. is it needed to follow some different procedure or the same procedure for local excise invoice will work? For local excise invoice, the object J_1IEXCLOC is used. Can anyone advice which object is to be used for export excise invoice?
Thanks,

hi
you maintain the different number ranges for the exports , it is depending on you series group and excise group , excise group normally main at j_1iexcloc it common object ,here you maintain the number ranges for excise group base , after you will maintain the series group based J_1IEXCEXP ,
go to SNRO , its fallow the anand post ,
and also check the CIN settings for serious group , serious group define or not , and also check the maintain default excise group and serious group , like below screen

As already suggested, you need to use Object J_1IEXCEXP for exports. Most importantly, you need to have a separate series group also for exports; only then, you can differentiate the number range.
