Cannot post to Business Objects Integration Kit

Former Member

I am having a problem posting to a particular discussion group - others I have found I can post to. The one that is giving me a problem is the Business Objects Integration Kit discussion group.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there some way to allow me to post to this discussion group?

Thanks,

Gisella.

That is correct - I'm missing items from the 'Actions' box. I'm adding a screen shot so you can see.

I can, however see all the correct stuff in most other groups I have tried.

Thank you very much,

Gisella.

Thanks for the helpful screenshot. I think I pinpointed the problem and need to check with IT before I try fixing it.

Hi Gisella,

I've changed some permission settings and you should have access now.  Please try again and confirm it's working properly.

Hello,

I can see that other users are posting in so it's a bit of a mystery why you cannot.

  • What browser are you using? Perhaps try using a different one to determine if the browser is the issue.
  • Try initiating the new discussion from the actions box on the right side of the overview page.

Hi Jason,

I have tried using both IE 8 and Firefox. Both have the same issue.

I don't have any way to start a new discussion as there is no command menu on the right side with that option.l In addition, if I post somewhere else and then try to move the posting to this group, it tells me I cannot (access denied).

Finally, I just figured out that I can post comments (replies) to the group, just not initiate any new discussion.

If you go to that group, can you create a new discussion?

Thanks,

Gisella.

I can created a new discussion but I'm also a global moderator.

So you're logged in and cannot see the actions box on the right side, like in this screenshot:
