Mapping Program - Empty Input

I use Sender RFC Adapter to send messsages to XI. XI does some mapping. The receiver XI Adapter is used to route the messagees to Java Proxy. The Java Proxy can receive the result message. Mapping program can create a node in the result message and can assign a constant to the elment of the result message. But all operations which assign values from the incoming message to outgoing message fail! I did some tests using the "exists" standard function. It seems that the input message to the mapping program is empty or has a wrong format.

Had anybody had such experience or could anybody tell me how to view or intercept messages before they come into the mapping program?

    Hi Jerome,

you can see the payload using TCODE: SXMB_MONI in sapgui

click on your message and you'll see your RFC call over there

if you use sync RFC then you may have to increase the level of the logging... take a look at my weblog:
