Issues in Central Management Console after Upgrading to SP02 P13

Hi there,

I have the following issue with the Central Management Console:

Whenever I try to open a second level menu item (i.e. User & Groups => Users List) it won't open and some JavaScript errors occur (please see attached screenshot and log). It is always possible to open the first menu item from the drop down list (User & Groups, Folders, Servers ...) but it you dig deeper into the hierarchy one will get the errors mentioned before.

This error first occured when I updated the server components from SP00 Patch 00 to SP 02 Patch 13. Patching to 14 wouldn't help.

Please see my system properties (Build etc.) in the attached screenshot.

What is the cause of the problem and how can I solve it?

Thank you.

Redeployment of the web applications using wdeploy could maybe help in some cases but did not in my case.

Hi Jörg,

Sorry, I do not know how solve your problem, but I would just tell you that I do not encounter the same behavior for the moment. My platform is SP02 Patch 14 with Oracle 11.2.0.2 Database and TOMCAT 6.

     1. First install, BI4 SP2

     2. PAtch 7

     3. Patch 12

     4. PAtch 13

     5. Patch 14 Recently

Hi Joerg,

could you please outline your upgrade process? Upgrading from SP00 Patch00 would require:

  1. Upgrade to SP02
  2. Upgrade to SP02 Patch 13

I would however suggest starting off with the RTM Version as there may be issues upgrading from the first-ever rampup release.
