Hello SRM and SUS experts,
just a general question about SAP SUS implementation scenarios.
Looking on SAP documentation, it appears than today, it is possible either:
- to link SAP SUS to SAP ECC : for both Services and Plan-Driven Procurement scenarios (when using SAP ECC > Ehp4 and SAP SRM > 7.0)
- to link SAP SUS to SAP SRM EBP : only for Services Procurement scenarios
My question is, when integrating SAP SUS to SAP SRM EBP, can only items of items type "Services" be transfered from SAP EBP to SAP SUS?
What would occur when sending Material type items from SAP EBP to SAP SUS?
I agree that theorically, SAP SUS only enables ASN creation when dealing with materials, and that ASN do not exist in SAP EBP.
But I would be surprised than SAP EBP / SUS scenario does not manage material types at all...
Thanks in advance for your response and information.
Stephane
Hi,
If you are going for EBP-SUS scenario; it's not possible to create documents after PO response. If you want; it's consulting solution.
Now if you want to impalement MM-SUS there is no issue with material or services.
I hope it helps.

Hello Vinay.
I agree with you on the Extended Scenario.
But assume we use SRM standalone scenario, linked to SUS.
OSS Note "Note 700350 - Supplier Enablement: Deployment Scenarios integrating SUS" says in that case that "you have supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios including all document types from Purchase Order to Invoice".
However all SAP other docs says that only Services Procurement can be managed when using EBP-SUS scenario...
So what would be the true process when creating Material PO from EBP linked to SUS?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Stephane
Hello Stephane,
When integrating SAP SUS to SAP SRM EBP, items of items type "Services" as well as "Material" can be transferred from SAP EBP to SAP SUS. Same is the case when you integrate ECC with SUS.

Nikhil
