I'm planning to upgrade the kernel of our SAP GRC(Virsa) systems. How to check if the kernel was already upgraded and how to check if there's no issues after the upgrade???How to connect SAP VIRSA to ERP system?

Hello:

Go to Market Place Kernel and update the last version for example 402 no matter wich application you are using the important y your SO and the Kernel you have right now!

For example

On Kernel options.

You can see which Kernel you have on Abap with status and the system.

Or with the sm51 info release.

And also if you  are using unix you can si disp+work.

Hi J V,

Kernel upgrade process is the same for all SAP systems. You have to download the relevant files from SMP and extract them(two of them) and replace the /exe contents with new one. Before doing that SAP, Oracle services need to be shut down and exe folder backup is to be taken in case something goes wrong. The way to check if upgrade is working fine is that system starts and works smoothly as it was before. In ABAP systems, you can check kernel version by going Sm51-release notes. At OS level, you can fire command disp+work and check.

It is advisable to do this activity with Basis team.

Regarding connectors, there are lots of documents at SMP ans SDN you can check them. The SAP standard config guide contains all details.
