How to upload long text through BDC

Hello Experts,

Right now i m doing BDC for Routing creation i.e. CA01

In that, at the time of upload the data there is field of Description of length 40.

But client having large Description i.e. more than 40 chars....

So i put description in long text....

But that long text is not getting upload in the System..

(IT UPLOADS ONLY 1ST 40 CHARS OF LONG TEXT)

Please anyone can help me by giving any trickkkk...
