Hello Everyone,
I have a transformation between one DSO and Cube. In the transformation i am reading Master data of one infoobject. When ever i transport the Infoobject with changes, the transformation between my DSO and Cube is getting inactivated.
Will this happen?
Need your suggestions..
Thanks,
Gayatri.
Hi,
As per my knowledge try to activate the transformation and send this request to production system.

Sometimes there may be a case that in spite of successful migration of a BW object via transport, the object continues to remain inactive. There may also be cases where we mistakenly forget to transport a dependent object and hence the dependent object remains inactive in the the target system.
Hence before transporting an object, make sure that all the dependent objects are collected in the TR
In this scenario if we collecting the object and the transport is already in production, in order recollect and transport the objects through out the landscape, SAP has helped us in providing programs to activate the objects
But no standard program/FM exists to activate Transformation & DTP.
Refer to this article "Program to Activate Transformation & DTP" provided by Arminder
Singh to activate transformations and DTP in open systems

Hi Poornima,
--> Yes! This happens, but not always. Whenever an object ( generally Data Sources) undergoes any change, the dependent objects (like DTP's, transformations) become inactive. Here we need to replicate that particular Data Source and activate the DTP's/Transformations related to them.
--> But in your case it is enough to activate the inactive transformation, which you have already done.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Sai
