Planning at assembly level and Component level.

Hi,

We do planning at assembly level.

In md61 we mention the required quantity of the assembled product.   How can i get the data for child parts (i.e: quantity of total required components/parts etc.). Where can i find the same.

Any idea, please share.

Hi SP,

After mrp run go to md04 screen.

then click on *magnifying glass* after that click on order report or (shift+f4).

You may easily get ur dependent requirement.

I need to have this data in bulk (i.e: for all the assembly level material). I need the Part wise quantity requirement, So that shop floor planning will be done accosdingly. Should i follow any particilar table?

Report can be developed using the function module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2.

Please check the RESB- BDMNG - If you want to know the component requirement for only the production order.

IF you want the depenedent requirement and reservation, Then you need run the functional module

MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENT_LIST_API or MD_SALES_ORDER_STATUS_REPORT

Hi,

After running the MRP for the assembly material, check the stock requirement list in MD04 screen for assembly material. Click the 'Show overview Tree' icon in the same screen in left side, you can see the required components and qunaity for that order.
