error in customer creation in BAPI

I got some valuable answers for the error no 838 in bapi customer creation. I have followed these things. but now I am facing another problem when I m debuging the function module BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDAT1.and that is Standard layout used(user-specific layout -> long text)

and the value of the customer number is blank which is of type KUNNR

and the value of return parameter is 000 which is of type BAPIRETURN1.
