Can you copy a subreport from one parent to another?

in CR2011, I have a complex report, for which I originally created a subreport. Naturally, when you insert a SR, the original remains. Well, I ended up making significant modifications and additions to the inserted one, and now the original is way out of date.

I want to know:

1) Can I export just the SR back out to a file, overwriting the out-of-date one?

2) Can I Copy/paste the SR from one parent report directly to another?

I have no idea how to do either of these things, so any information available would be much appreciated.
