Can't find InfoObject

Former Member

Hi

I have created a key figure in AWB. The InfoObject exists, for instance I can find it in the Transport Connector. However, I can't find it in the InfoObjects view in AWB. I have searched for it, and also looked through the unassigned notes, no luck. What is the problem?

It is version 3.3.

Thanks

Karsten

Hi Karsten,

did you check the display settings in the settings menue of the AdmWB?

Also check table RSDIOBCIOBJ (SE16). There you can find the InfoObjects plus the InfoObject Catalog.

Hope that helped,

Hi Michael

Thanks for your answer.

If you by the display setting mean if I display both Active and Inactive objects, then yes.

Strangely enough I can't seem to find it in the table RSDIOBCIOBJ.

Which SAP BW Release are you on?

You went to transaktion SE16 SAP Menue - Tools - ABAP Workbench - Overview - Data Browser?

Can you find any table RSDIOBC*?

Hi Karsten,

goto RSD1, search for it and assign it to a catalog.

I am on version 3.3.

Yes, I went to the table and found the key figures. However, I was not able to find this particular key figure.

Hi Siggi

I can find it as active in RSD1. But how do I assign it to a catalog? Can't seem to find it in the menu.

Hi Karsten,

I just checked and saw that it isn't possible anymore from there. But what you can try is: In rsa1, goto the infoobjects and double click on a infoobject catalog to maintain the catalog. You will see two tables. The left one shows all objects already assigned to that catalog. On the right side, you can click on all infoobjects and it will normally display all of them. Search for you object and move it to the left side. Activate your catalog again.
