How To Retreive Deleted Text file from SAP FTP Server

I mistakenly deleted a txt file from our SAP FTP Server using a custom Z program (Delete DATASET ....).

Q:

Is it possible to retrieve this from Archive, DB or somewhere. I talked to our SAP BASIS and was told that since our Backup has not run before the deletion, the file could have been lost. Nevertheless, I would want to believe that the txt files are stored in some kind of DB. Has anyone an idea how I could retrieve the txt files content?
