Process Chain - next step starts even if e.g. activation of DSO has not finished

Dear Experts,

I'm facing a problem with some of our process chains.

We are loading data into DSO using DTP. This works fine. Afterwards DSO data is activated. This works fine as well. Then next DTP (Delta) is executed to transfer data into Info Cube. But there it says that there is no data!

It seems, that the process in the chain for activating the data in DSO finishes before data is "really" activated within DSO!

Does anyone have same issues? Any hint?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Frank

PS: Within RSA1 "Manage DSO" the time in column "Updated" is later then the start of DTP within process chain!

Hi,

could you check note 1180301?

In fact it's the complete opposite of your problem, but maybe the root cause is the same.

Hi @all,

I found note 1696738 which I think will fix my problem. Thank's for your reply!

Hi

Is you DSO activation step is becoming green before data gets activate?

try to recreate the same step in your process chain or check out how much time it is taking(to activate data) and add the wait step for DTP which loads data from this DSO to Cube.

Hi Frank

Please go through the link below :

As a suggestion try this :

In your process chain, between the ODS activation and the new load, add an 'AND' process. You can add an AND even in a straight flow. Then right click on the AND and add a time delay, like 60 Or 120 sec. This will make sure the Activation is completely executed before the next load.
