Hi all,

What is the price master in MM module..

How can i upload Price master from MM?

Is it MR21??

please give me ur suggestions what is the price master and how can i upload price master???

Hi,

Pricing Master  concept used when material or service price varies with respect to specific region( or any respective key/keys maintaioned in the prcing table).But it represents price of material and maintioned in condition record in each areas.You can have condition records as following for a material

1.For Purchasing
A.T Code: MEK1 used for maintaining the purchase condition records which will reflect in Purchase Order in MM calculation Schema

B.T Code: FV11 used for maintaining the purchasing tax condition records which will reflect in Purchase Order with tax procedure

2.For Sales
T Code:VK11 used for maintaining the  sales condition records which reflect in Sales Order

If require price of material is changed in T Code: MR21 with result triggering revalution account when posting or saving the  tranction where its done when material price no longer equal to market price.

All price change documents of a material can be checked in t.code: CKMPCSEARCH or tracked in table S031 in t.code:SE11

MR21 is the tool to change the price of material and its not a master data. All the changes in Material master can be done through MM02 and why price can't changed through MM02. Because price chance in material master involves accounting entries, while doing revaluation it generates accounting documents and hence price is considered critical and its not possible through MM02. SAP has given a special transaction to update the price of the material master and mostly which is authorized by FI guys.

yes for Material mater  you can update price or change price through MR21

here you have to give company code ,plant and material and price

or while creating Material in MM01 you can give material price in accounting view

MR21 is to do revaluatoin of moving average price for material. It is seen in Material master - Accounting 1 view.

Price could be maintained in ME12 - Purchase Info Record - Conditions tab.

To mass upload, you could create a LSMW tool to upload.
