Error "saleorder stock doesnot exist" for Inter company stock transport order

Hi Experts,

Please suggest your answers for the below Scenario:

Sale order created in Plant 'A' with custom item category that created a PR.

Inter company Stock Transport order is created using the PR with Plant 'B' as a supplying plant and plant 'A' as receiving plant.

Delivery is created in Plant B. While performing PGI the error "Sales order stock does not exist" is displayed

This means system is checking for sales order stock in Plant 'B'.

I understand that we can do transfer posting from un restricted to sales order using MB1B, so that the stock appears in sale order.

other than this , Is there any configuration/controlling parameter where we can make system to check the stock in unrestricted stock instead of sale order stock.

Any help is appreciated.

your scenario is possible in standard as you can read from OSS notes

you might want to compare your settings with the mentioned settings in the notes from above but also from this note which is caring more about the sending side:
