WMS putaway strategy near the picking bin

Hello Gurus,

I make some test with putaway strategy near the picking bin but I have to define 2 storage type and I do not know who of the 2 is the driving one and which one I  have to use as for putaway, scanner trasaction functionalities and picking. Can i have some suggestion?

Which of the two storage types will have fixed bins, any idea?

Hy,

I have defined:

1) Storage type 010 as with fixed bin

2) Storage type 011 as near picking bin

During putaway in warehouse, on barcode scanner, the system propose storage type 010 and when is busy the system propose 011 ?

So I have to label the warehouse with 2 storage type in the same area ?
