Where do we maintain the G/L account for internal goods/service?

I need to maintain a set of G/L accounts for internal goods/services in a classic scenario, I see there is a SPRO link

SPRO -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Account Assignment - > Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category.

None of the categories present there indicate Internal Goods/Services, If i maintain the Account assignment here, how will that be read during creation of SC for Internal Goods/Services?

    Hi,

Please confirm you are going to create shopping cart for direct material, if I am right then the GL account is not necessary and also account assignment tap will be also disappeared.

You are not require to do this configuration for direct material procurement.

    Regards,

    RBEI SRM / Naga.

    Hi,

    Path:

SPRO -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Account Assignment - > Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category.

is used to create to assign G/L accounts to Product Category & Account Assignment Category as it's name suggest.

Don't worry about SC you gonna create from Internal Goods & Services. G/L account will be defaulted according to your setting for Product Category in 'Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category'.

P.S. Internal Goods/Services link is way to create SC(requisition) like freetext & catalogs not a Product Category or Account Assignment.

    Regards,
