Updating Measuring Points from QM Result recording

Hi QM Experts,

In my solution, the inspection lots are generated back of PM Orders for Preventive Maintenance (Inspection Points are Functional Locations).They carry quantitive characteristics. And I use QE51N to record the results. Based on the value entered and the upper/lower thresh-holds I maintained, system does the valuation.

What I want to know is way to tie-up the values I enter in inspection lot result recording with a measuring point associated with the respective functional location so the same values are reflected over there. Does anyone know about a way of getting this done please??

I set up the follow-up function QM_PM to usage decision. But still it doesnt record the measurment value. I have a feeling that I have to maintain the same characteristic I maintained for the mearusement point but cannot find such a place.

your help is highly appreciated.

QM_PM function module followup action will only do automatic Technical completion of order.

You can customize your own function module & put in followup action in selected set of UD.

Hi Deepal,

              1. The characteristic in the task list whose value after result recording you want to be updated in measuring point has to be created as a reference characteristic and you have to assign a class characteristic (numeric data type) to it.

               2. This same class characteristic has to be assigned to your measuring point.

               3. In configuration, quality inspection - define follow up action, for the follow up action QM_PM, you have to ensure that the first counter (0 counter in standard) is the FM QFOA_QM_CHAR_TO_PM_E_POINTS.

                   Then, after release of calibration order and result recording against inspection lot, the measuring point should be updated.

                    Please check in development and revert.
