Can I transfer all settings from one to other database through copy express?

Hi all ,

When I was  transferring  all settings from one to other database through the copy express ,Not transferred all settings only some of settings were transferred.Is there any problem ? (or) Is it possible to  transfer all settings from one to other database?Then how? can any body let me know how to get this?

Hi,

By standard SAP B1 copy express, you should be able to transfer all settings but some settings like user authorizations, user code, numbering series and store procedure can't be transferred.

The store procedure is really unable to transfer using copy express but for others, you can but it sometimes requires some tricks.

Can you explain what settings not transferred ?

I have transferred settings like Queries, initialization settings, UDF's but not completely transferred.

UDF's in old db 40 but in new only 33 came. when i am creating a new one it is reflecting me an error

Internal error(1) Message 131-183

PLD  also not transferred, but i transferred this with SQL Query

Can u help me out where i am wrong?
