Hi All,

We have UK Benefits implemented and working on ECC5. Under miscelleneous plans we have EAP - Emp assitance plan. Initiaally EAP

it was employer contribution at 6.10 emp/ per year. Now the insurance plan is free so there is no cost any longer. Can some one please tell me hw to configure this change?

I have found the config SPRO -> Benefits>Plans>Miscellaneous Plans>Define Employer Contribution Rules. Here the amout is configured as 6,10 monhly.

is this the only setting?

Please help..

thanks

Nidhi B

Yes, that is the only setting if no other rules have changed.  Make sure you delimit the existing rule and add the new one (same name so you don't have to update the contribution variants too) from the change date, rather than just overwriting the existing rule.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the reply. EAP is automatic plan where employee is enrolled at time of new enrollment.

This benefit plan is now provided by the insurance company for free, I wanted to ask is it possbile to have zero as a premium amount? As this benefit plan is now provided by the insurance company for free.

Thanks,

If the plan is free, just delimit the old contribution rule.  There should be no reason to create a new one with zero as the premium.
