Upgrade Remote database server

Hi Experts ,

When I upgrade the SAP 8.8 to 8.82, It is not accepting the database server which is other then our SAP license server. I have installed SQL server on one server and SAP Server on other system It is giving message the you can connect to  remote  SAP Business one Server, but you can not upgrade server component that are located on remote server. Please suggest how I can upgrade my SAP database server.

hi,

you must run the upgrade in your database server separately to upgrade your database. all other server component upgrade will be done in your license server.

Hi,

Where is the server component installed ? You must upgrade the SBO version directly in the server where server component previously installed.

I am afraid that is the current sytem limitation of B1 8.82.
