Retire an asset with value date in closed fiscal year

Hi,

As it is not possible in SAP to post asset retirement with Asset value date in closed fiscal year,is there any workaround to have correct accounting result.

Can you explain, what exactly you want to do?

As you know it is not possible for closed fiscal year,

1. Open the previous AA fiscal year, use special posting period

Else, set off it in the current fiscal year
