Unable to adjust subreport width

Hello,

I have a subreport inside of my report.  I recently changed the page size to tabloid and adjusted the size of the subreport by expanding the subreport object on the main report.  However when I goto edit the subreport, the width within the subreport does not reflect the width of the subreport object on the main report (which stretched the entire width of the report).  Is there a max width for subreports.  Am I missing something?  Please help!  I would attach a copy of the report but it doesn't look like you can attach .rpt files, which seems odd considering.

I upgrade Crystal Reports for VS2010 to service pack 3 but I'm still having the same problem.

I also tried doing this on a different version of Crystal Reports (Crystal Reports 2008 12.0.0.683) with the same result?

It would seem that this problem is not related to the version I am using.

Any ideas?

I believe it's just a matter of sizing the report. If the margin of the main report is set to zero, the subreport margin needs to be set to zero. If I match the margins and stretch the subreport to take up the whole width of the main report, the size of the subreport matches exactly.
