updatestats failed in bw system

Hi Gurus,

The update stats is getting failed in the bw system:Below is one sample that is repeating for various indexes too

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location stats_ind_collect-2

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 8557

ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 8577

ORA-06512: at line 1

BR0886E Checking/collecting statistics failed for index SAPN01./BI0/D0PM_C033~0

BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: 2012-04-09 16.26.17

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location stats_ind_collect-2

I have executed the below command SELECT INDEX_NAME, TABLE_NAME, STATUS from dba_indexes where INDEX_NAME = '/BI0/D0BWTC_C033~0' and status is VALID for various indexes

i have read the note 633914 and 515711.But i could not get the exact solution for my issue.Kindly provide me a solution for this as after rectifying these errors we have to do export

system details:

BW 3.5/sunOS5.9/Oracle 9.2.0.8

You should review SAP Notes,

Note 134592 - Importing the SAPDBA role (sapdba_role.sql)

Hi Bharatram,

Check with basis team, because this seems to be a table authorization issue or Oracle database issue.

The basis team can resolve this.
