Hi Kirthi,

This looks like an Oracle problem. Which exact Oracle version are you running your repository on?

Because this message has been seen more often with 10.2.0.2 (ORA-01008: not all variables bound). It should be fixed in the latest versions of Oracle.

Hi Rachid,

We are using ORA 11.2.0.2 . We have been suggested by SAP to implement latest DBSL patch to resolve this issue.I will let you know once this is done.

Thanks,

Hi Hugo,

Thank you very much for the solution. Since its a production system I can't directly apply this note straightaway. Our client is asking why BW stats job is not failing due to ora-1008 error in quaility.

Can you please advise?

Hi Kirthi,

If this error is not reproducible and occurs sporadically, you can ignore it. Sometimes, because of running parallel processes(update statistics here), some memory was not available and this ORA-1008 error would happen.

A good approach would be to apply the latest BR*tools patch.

Hope it helps.
