Hi all,
We suspect a user is running a huge multi-worksheet EVDRE report that is slowing down the 7.5 SP5 MS system. Does anyone have a suggestion how I can find out if this is the case and if so what the query contans so we can pinpoint the user? We are on SQL SErver 2008.
Thanks,
Matthew
Hi,
If you are querying for a large data set, the performance might be slow, and there might be various reasons behind it. Use of dimension formula will impact the performance. You can try to optimize the applications, compress them, increase the memory in server / client. But, my feeling is that it wont improve the performance too much. However, you should be able to see some improvement.
Hope this helps.

Hi Matthew,
directly from BPC server you see only a user.dll but you cannot identify the user.
You can try with the management console or with sw like CA WilyIntroscope.
You will found the query on the \Webfolders\<appset>\<application>\PRIVATEPUBLICATIONS\<user>\TempFiles
Kind regards
Roberto
