Has anyone run into a problem where you were not able to select the data target in the infopackage even though active update rules were present for the InfoCube?
This is my current situation because everything is active for the cube with active update rules, the infosouce is active with active transfer rules from a flat file datasource, but the infopackage is not recognizing the update rules for the cube. Data can be loaded into the PSA but not futhur since the update rules can not be found.
Any ideas?
Dan
Hi Dan,
Could you please check if your target cube is Transactional or Basic? If it's Transactional it won't appear in the IP.

Gersh

Dan,
Double check to see if the InfoPackage is in a process chain or InfoPackage group. I've seen this glitch before, I think I solved the problem by just recreating the InfoPackage from scratch.

Hi Daniel,
May be youhave checked through this, but just to confirm: The active update rules that you see for your data target are based on the same InfoSource from where you created the InfoPackage and are trying to load...
