Text in J1IH - Excise JV

Hi

I am posting one excise JV through TCode J1IH. When I went into J1IH, I entered amount and all. But I didn't got field to write the narration / text for explaining the reason for posting the excise JV.

Please let me know how can I write text / narration in J1IH itself. I do not want to go in FB02 and then write narration separately.

Yes this is possible. Go to Header Text --> JV Text. You can maintain the narration over there.

I tried maintaining text in the path you mentioned. But I am unable to see the text in FB03. How to view text document display?

Hi Deepak,

There is possibility to maintain text over there in Header > Texts > 0001JV Text. But i am sure it won't copied to financial document.

With the help of ABAP you can set the layout of Header Text in FBL3n

Hi Deepak,

It is not possible to update while doing the J1IH entry online with standard SAP ,until and unless right program through ABAP development.  Header text update tables are STXH ,STXL. Add through the same substitution rule.

Hi Deepak,

There are 2 Methods. First method is :-

Go to FIBF Transaction code >  Settings > Products > Of Customer > Click on New Entries > add product like ZSUB Enter text Substitution for Text.( Do not activate here) & Save.

Comeback from screen > Settings > Processes Modules > Of customer > Click on New entries > Give Process as 001130 > Enter Function Module as SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001130 > Enter product name as ZSUB.

Go to earlier settings ,activate the same that product. Now go to SE37 > Enter said Function module > Set Break point. & Try to post J1IH & While posting the same ,said function module will call.

Just shown the same to ABPER rest of part he will take care. Copy standard function module as Z and use the same

It is not possible to add text while doing J1IH. Use FB02 / FBL3N Mass change.
