PR not getting generated after MRP Run

Former Member

Hi,

The issue is thatwhen MRP is executed through batch Job PR is not getting generated automatically. The MRP is ececuted at Reorder point level.

I have checked all the parameters in MRP 1 view and MRP 2 view. The reorder point is 25 and stock maintained is 15 .Hence when MRP is executed

a PR of 10 units need to be executed.

I have checked config also. The plant is included in scope of planning file and MRP is activated for this plant. Please note The same program RMMRP000 is running well for other plant.Currently Being Moderated

In our case we are having reorder point planning

MRP Type-VB

Lot Size =HB

I have checked all the parameters

Total Stock=MMBE=10

In MD04 there is no PR or PO

Stock in Transit=mb5t

There is no outstanding PR or PO

Safety Stock=0

As per norms  maintained in MRP the system should automatically generate PR after MRP run

The program name is RMMRP000(the batch job which is executed for MRP run) and the Tcode for the same is WC27

Please let me know if I am missing any configurations in Consumption based planning

Regards

Your concern:-

MRP type : VB( reorder point planning)

LOT SIze : HB( replenishment to maximum stock level)

Reorder point : 25

Available stock in MMBE: 10

Solution :-

Here you need to maintain in MRP 1 view

1.Minimum lot size : 25( as per your requirement it might be variable)

2. Maximum stock level: 50( as per your requirement it might be variable)

After maintaining this parameter Now run the MRP it will auto create PR for the net quantity 65 which includes ( max. Stock level qty and remaing 15 qty )

Hope your clear to the statement.

Hi,

You have material with MRP Type-VB and Lot Size - HB,reorder point is 25 and stock maintained is 15,Total Stock in t.code:MMBE-10,But what is stock maintained is 15???
AND also there is no outstanding PR or PO.

As you have stock 10 and you are using MRP Type-VB and Lot Size - HB, then maintaioned Minimum Lot Size-25 and Maximum stock level-35 in lot size segment in MRP-1 view of material master (MM02)and save.

Now run MRP with any t.code: MD01 or MD02 or MD03

Thanks for your reply

As discussed earlies the client is having reorder point planning

MRP Type=VB

LOT SIZE =HB

Reorder Qty maintained in MRP1 view =25

I have checked the stock in MMBE which shows Stock quantity of 10 materials. The difference betwwen

Reorder Qty and Stock Quantity=15 units.

Therefor when MRP will be executed  an AUTO PR of 15 units should be created but that is not hapenning.I have also checked that there is no open PO,PR for this material against this plant. The stock in Transit qty is also zero.

Please note that  for MRP a batch job is executed .The two programs are

RMMRP000(Tcde WC27-Batch Structure for MRP Run)

RM06BB20(ME59-To create auto PO)

I have checked all master data settings and found everything is OK

Pl let me know if I have missed anything

You can also go through below link with same Issue for more understanding,

also check this:

1. Auto PO indicator in VMR and MMR

2. Maintain the sourcelist with relevent source and can also make it fix with the FIX indicator...

If you wanna make the schedule lines then need to use the MRP indicator as 2 in the source list..

check all these settings:

1. Get PR trough MRP run

1a, You have to have proper master data settings (e.g. material master: MRP type "PD", procurement type "F")

1b, Proper MRP creation indicator shoudl be used in MD01 / MD02 / MD03.

1c, Your planning situation also influences whether you get PR or not. If there's no need to procure anything (e.g. you have sufficient stock level or you have no demand for the goods > MRP won't generate procurement proposal)

2. Convert PR to PO

It depends on your master data settings (material master, source list, QA, outline agreeemts, etc)

If you have proper master data settings and during MRP run it is possible to determine the source of supply, you can use ME59 to get the POs from the PReqs (otherwise you have to use ME57, ME58 too).
